Come join us as we welcome Michigan author Abra Berens who will be discussing her cookbooks, Ruffage: A Practical Guide to Vegetables and her new release Grist: A Practical Guide to Cooking Grains, Beans, Seeds, and Legumes. Written from her experiences as a chef, former farmer, and everyday eater, Ruffage was named a 2020 Michigan Notable Book by the Library of Michigan.
Miss Berens will talk about her cookbooks, provide cooking demonstrations, and then answer your questions. Learn some new ways to incorporate veggies into your meals ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday!
