For years Overdrive has been the go-to app for libraries to provide access to eBooks and audiobooks. Now they’ve built a new app specifically designed for library patrons called Libby. Overdrive is encouraging library users to begin reading with Libby. Available on the iPhone app store, Google Play, and on Microsoft Windows (10+), library patrons can now access Libby from their phone, tablet, or desktop.
With the app, you will be able to:
- Read OverDrive eBooks in the Libby app or transfer them to a Kindle device.
- Download eBooks and eAudiobooks for offline reading.
- Sample any eBook or eAudiobook without waiting.
- Your loans, holds, reading positions, bookmarks and notes are synchronized automatically across all your devices.
