The Youth Department has recently purchased two new AWE Early Literacy Stations™. These computers are preloaded with over 70 educational games and activities perfect for 2-8 year-olds. Games cover such subjects as reading, math, science, social studies, and the arts. These child-friendly and easy-to-navigate computers are first-come, first-serve. A library card number is not required to sign on, but we do ask that you leave a library card or license at the Youth Reference Desk in order to borrow the headphones. You may also bring in your own headphones or earbuds. There is no Internet access, so these computers are ideal for young children. We hope kids and parents alike will find these to be fun and invaluable additions to the Youth Department.
